South Africa Manufacturing: Production and sales - March 2026
Manufacturing production increased by 0,9% in March 2026 compared with March 2025. The largest positive contributions were made by the following divisions: • food and beverages (3,5% and contributing 0,9 of a percentage point); • petroleum, chemical products, rubber and plastic products (1,8% and contributing 0,4 of a percentage point); and • electrical machinery (11,9% and contributing 0,3 of a percentage point).
