Canadian industrial product and raw materials price indexes, March 2026
Prices of products manufactured in Canada, as measured by the Industrial Product Price Index (IPPI), increased 2.4% month over month in March and gained 7.8% year over year. Meanwhile, prices of raw materials purchased by manufacturers operating in Canada, as measured by the Raw Materials Price Index (RMPI), increased by 12.0% month over month and rose 23.6% year over year. The IPPI increased 2.4% month over month in March, following a 0.6% increase in the previous month.
