The precious metal market experienced upward momentum Thursday, buoyed by a declining U.S. dollar and measured optimism surrounding diplomatic engagement between Washington and Tehran. The benchmark yellow metal appreciated 0.4% to settle at $4,808.42 per troy ounce. Futures contracts for the metal increased 0.1% to $4,828.71 per ounce during early trading hours Thursday Eastern Time. Additional precious metals experienced similar upward trajectories.
