U.S. import prices increased 0.8 percent in March, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today, following a 0.9-percent rise in February. Higher prices for nonfuel imports and fuel imports drove the advance in March. Prices for U.S. exports rose 1.6 percent in March, after increasing 1.9 percent the previous month. U.S. import prices rose 0.8 percent in March, following increases of 0.9 percent in February and 0.6 percent in January. Prices for U.S. imports advanced 2.1 percent from March 2025 to March 2026.
