Manufacturing production decreased by 2,8% in February 2026 compared with February 2025. The largest negative contributions were made by the following divisions: • food and beverages (-4,5% and contributing -1,1 percentage points); • wood and wood products, paper, publishing and printing (-9,7% and contributing -1,0 percentage point); and • basic iron and steel, non-ferrous metal products, metal products and machinery (-3,6% and contributing -0,8 of a percentage point) – see Table 5 and Table 6.
