Silver prices steadied into the end of the week, with the metal recovering modestly after the sharp swings seen earlier in March. Live XAG/USD quotes were around $84.19 per ounce, leaving the silver price about 1.7% higher on the day. Daily data show silver closing Friday near $84.40, rebounding from Thursday’s $82.83 close but still well below the $95.85 peak reached at the start of the month.
