Prices of products manufactured in Canada, as measured by the Industrial Product Price Index (IPPI), increased 2.7% month over month in January and were up 5.4% year over year. Prices of raw materials purchased by manufacturers operating in Canada, as measured by the Raw Materials Price Index (RMPI), increased by 7.7% month over month in January and rose 8.0% year over year. The IPPI increased 2.7% month over month in January, following a 0.9% decline in the previous month.
