Base metals closed with moderate losses on Friday, just ahead of the start of the Chinese New Year holiday. The LME began the new week on a calm note. In our own matter: the Gerber Group warns of rising costs and an increasingly blocked EU Single Market. Last Friday, Asian base metal prices closed with moderate losses. To a significant extent, this movement was likely linked to the start of the Chinese New Year holiday period.
