Total construction output is estimated to have fallen by 2.1% in Quarter 4 (Oct to Dec 2025) compared with Quarter 3 (July to Sept 2025); new work and repair and maintenance both fell by 2.6% and 1.5%, respectively. At the sector level, seven out of the nine sectors fell in Quarter 4 2025; the main negative contributor to the decrease was private new housing, which fell by 3.6%.
