The precious metals staged a smart comeback on Tuesday, February 3, after two days of relentless selling, marking one of the worst declines for the gold and silver prices in decades. Spot gold prices rallied nearly 6% in the international market to $4,935, putting them on track for the best single-day gain since November 2008, as per a Bloomberg report.
