China saw its electric vehicle charging network surpassed 20 million units by the end of 2025, cementing its status as the world's largest and most rapidly expanding charging infrastructure, according to authority. According to data released Wednesday by the National Energy Administration (NEA), the total number of charging facilities has exceeded 20.09 million, supporting a fleet of more than 40 million new energy vehicles.
