Business inventories in the United States were up by 0.3% in October 2025 compared to the month prior, reaching $2.67 billion, the US Census Bureau announced in its report on Wednesday. Compared to the same month of 2024, the figure rose 1.4%. In addition, the combined value of trade sales and manufacturers' shipments was estimated to be around $1.94 billion, falling 0.2% from the previous month, while climbing 3.5% annually. The total ratio of business inventories to sales came in at 1.38 at the end of October, as opposed to 1.41 in the same month of 2024. (full story)
