Spain: Unemployment fell by 16,291 people in December
The number of unemployed people registered at the State Public Employment Service (SEPE) offices at the end of December 2025 decreased by 16,291 people compared to the previous month (-0.67%). With this decrease, registered unemployment has reached a total of 2,408,670 people.In year-on-year terms, unemployment has decreased by 152,048 people (-5.94%) and has now seen 56 consecutive months of year-on-year declines.
