The consolidated public sector registered a primary deficit of R$14.4 billion in November, compared to a deficit of R$6.6 billion in the same month of 2024. There was a deficit of R$16.9 billion in the Central Government and R$2.9 billion in state-owned enterprises, and a surplus of R$5.3 billion in regional governments. Over twelve months, the consolidated public sector accumulated a primary deficit of R$45.5 billion, 0.36% of GDP, compared to a deficit of R$37.7 billion, 0.30% of GDP, in the twelve months accumulated until October.
