Cache of guns, gold seized from ‘problem residence’ in B.C. break-in investigation
Police in Abbotsford, B.C., say several handguns and more than $30,000 in gold and silver bullion were seized last week as part of an ongoing investigation into property crime in the region. The Abbotsford Police Department says the investigation began after multiple break-ins were reported in October. Investigators identified suspects believed to be involved in the crimes and connected them to a “well-known problem residence” in the 27800 block of Myrtle Avenue, the department said in a news release Thursday.
