Euro area international trade in goods surplus €18.4 bn

The first estimates of euro area balance showed a €18.4 bn surplus in trade in goods with the rest of the world in October 2025, compared with + €7.1 bn in October 2024. The euro area exports of goods to the rest of the world in October 2025 were €258.0 bn, an increase of 1.0% compared with October 2024 (€255.5 bn). Imports from the rest of the world stood at €239.6 bn, a fall of 3.6% compared with October 2024 (€248.4 bn).In October 2025, the euro area balance remained stable compared to September 2025, with the overall surplus remaining at €18.4 bn.
