According to preliminary figures from the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), real (price-adjusted) output in the manufacturing sector rose by 1.8% in October 2025 compared to September 2025, after seasonal and calendar adjustments. In the less volatile three-month comparison, output from August 2025 to October 2025 was 1.5% lower than in the three preceding months.
