The deficit on the current account of the balance of payments narrowed to R57.0 billion in the third quarter of 2025 from a revised R72.2 billion in the second quarter. The current account deficit as a ratio of gross domestic product (GDP) narrowed to 0.7% in the third quarter of 2025 from 1.0% in the second quarter.
