German import prices in October 2025: -1.4% on October 2024
Import prices were 1.4% lower in October 2025 than in October 2024. Compared with the same month a year earlier, the rate of change was -1.0% in September 2025, and -1.5% in August 2025. The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that import prices in October 2025 rose by 0.2% on September 2025.Export prices were 0.5% higher in October 2025 than in October 2024. Compared with the same month a year earlier, the rate of change was +0.6% in September 2025, and +0.5% in August 2025. Compared with September 2025, export prices rose by 0.2% on average.
