Gold: Downward Pressure
Gold initially did gap lower to kick off the trading session on Monday but then turned around to fill that gap, only to sell off yet again. All things being equal, this is a market that I think continues to see a lot of volatility. And, interestingly, we fell pretty significantly later during the session. The $4,000 level is a large, round, psychologically significant figure that I think continues to show a lot of interest in the market, I think extending down to at least the 50-day EMA.
