South African manufacturing: Production and sales (Preliminary) September 2025
Manufacturing production increased by 0,3% in September 2025 compared with September 2024. The largest positive contributions were made by the motor vehicles, parts and accessories and other transport equipment division (7,6% and contributing 0,5 of a percentage point) and the food and beverages division (1,8% and contributing 0,5 of a percentage point) – see Table 5 and Table 6. Seasonally adjusted manufacturing production decreased by 0,5% in September 2025 compared with August 2025.
