Aluminium prices hit highest level of 2025
Aluminium prices have been on a steady upward path all year, hitting their highest level yet on the LME yesterday. While the EU pressures the US government to lift tariffs on steel derivatives, it simultaneously plans to impose new import duties on American products. Aluminium prices continue to move in one direction this year – upwards. On Wednesday, prices for the key industrial metal climbed to a year-to-date high of USD 2,748.50 per metric tonne on the London Metal Exchange (LME).
