Manufacturing production decreased by 1,5% in August 2025 compared with August 2024. The largest negative contributions were made by the basic iron and steel, non-ferrous metal products, metal products and machinery division (-5,9% and contributing -1,3 percentage points) and the food and beverages division (-3,0% and contributing -0,7 of a percentage point) – see Table 5 and Table 6.
