Tariff-Induced Anxiety Pushes Gold Past $3,500
The U.S. Supreme Court dazed markets by agreeing with a federal appeals court ruling that a majority of tariffs instituted by U.S. president Donald Trump were illegal. However, most expect a challenge to uphold them by the administration. As the legal back-and-forth on tariffs continue, investors scrambled towards safe haven assets like gold. The market reaction is another reason to consider gold exposure.
