According to preliminary estimates, in August 2025 the Italian consumer price index for the whole nation (NIC) was +0.1% compared with the previous month and +1.6% on annual basis (from +1.7% in July). The decrease of the growth on annual basis of All-item index was mainly due to the prices of Regulated energy products (from +17.1% to +12.9%), of Non-regulated energy products (from -5.2% to -5.9%) and of Services related to communication (from +0.5% to +0.2%).
