The Quarterly Gross Domestic Product provides, in the short term, a timely, comprehensive, and coherent view of the evolution of the country's economic activities. In the second quarter of 2025, the nominal Gross Domestic Product (GDP), at market prices, stood at 35,800,605 million current pesos (mp) (35.801 trillion pesos) and represented an increase of 5.4% compared to the same quarter of 2024. This result was due to the 5.3% increase in the Implicit Price Index (IPI), since the real GDP remained practically at the same level as a year earlier.
