Emergency crews responded after potentially radioactive material was discovered at a home on the north side of Burlington on Wednesday. At 08:20 a.m., the Burlington Fire Department was dispatched to 1516 N 9th St following a report of a discovered weapons container labeled as radioactive. Crews arrived within minutes and requested a Hazmat Team response, according to a press release from the Burlington Fire Department.
