Euro area international trade in goods surplus €7.0 bn

The first estimates of euro area balance showed a €7.0 bn surplus in trade in goods with the rest of the world in June 2025, compared with +€20.7 bn in June 2024. The euro area exports of goods to the rest of the world in June 2025 were €237.2 billion, an increase of 0.4% compared with June 2024 (€236.3 bn). Imports from the rest of the world stood at €230.2 bn, a rise of 6.8% compared with June 2024 (€215.6 bn). In June 2025, the euro area balance decreased compared to May 2025, with the surplus falling from €16.5 bn to €7.0 bn.
