Wholesale sales (excluding petroleum, petroleum products, and other hydrocarbons and excluding oilseed and grain) rose 0.7% to $84.7 billion in June. Sales increased in four of the seven subsectors, representing 54.2% of total wholesale sales. The largest increases came from the food, beverage and tobacco (+1.7% to $15.6 billion) and the miscellaneous (+2.4% to $10.7 billion) subsectors.
