Euro area annual inflation is expected to be 2.0% in July 2025, stable compared to June according to a flash estimate from Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union. Looking at the main components of euro area inflation, food, alcohol & tobacco is expected to have the highest annual rate in July (3.3%, compared with 3.1% in June), followed by services (3.1%, compared with 3.3% in June), non-energy industrial goods (0.8%, compared with 0.5% in June) and energy (-2.5%, compared with -2.6% in June).
