The monthly CPI indicator rose 1.9% in the 12 months to June. • The largest contributors to the annual movement were Food and non-alcoholic beverages (+3.2%), Alcohol and tobacco (+5.7%), and Housing (+1.6%). {table} The monthly CPI indicator rose 1.9% in the 12 months to June, following a 2.1% rise in the 12 months to May. The monthly CPI indicator excluding volatile items and holiday travel rose 2.5% in the 12 months to June following a 2.7% rise in the 12 months to May.
