S.Africa Consumer Price Index June 2025
Annual consumer price inflation was 3,0% in June 2025, up from 2,8% in May 2025. The CPI increased by 0,3% month-on-month in June 2025. The main positive contributors to the 3,0% annual inflation rate were: • housing and utilities (4,4% and contributing 1,0 percentage point); • food and non-alcoholic beverages (5,1% and contributing 0,9 of a percentage point); and • alcoholic beverages and tobacco (4,4% and contributing 0,2 of a percentage point) – see Table C and Table E.
