In June 2025, French consumer prices increased by 0.9% year on year
Over a year, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) should rise by 0.9% in June 2025, after +0.7% in May, according to the provisional estimate made at the end of the month. This increase in inflation should be explained by the acceleration in the prices of services, particularly those of accommodation, health and transport, by the decreasing fall in energy prices, and, to a lesser extent, by the very slight acceleration in food prices. Prices of manufactured products should decrease at the same pace as last month, while those of tobacco should slow down. Over one month, consumer prices should increase by 0.3% in June 2025, ...
