MX exports decreased by 0.4% and imports increased by 1.4% at an annual rate, in May 2025

In May 2025, timely foreign trade information reported a trade surplus of $1.029 billion. This balance compares with the $88 million deficit reported last April. The increase in the trade balance between April and May resulted from an increase in the surplus in the non-petroleum products balance—which rose from $2.783 billion in April to $3.139 billion in May—and a lower deficit in the petroleum products balance—which fell from $2.872 billion to $2.109 billion in the same comparison.
