Three people were arrested after allegedly stealing copper wire and causing about $30,000 in damages in Kern County. The Kern County Sheriff’s Office said on June 18, 2025, detectives with the Kern County Sheriff’s Office Rural Crime Investigations Unit discovered a copper wire theft causing about $30,000 damage in the Tejon area. KCSO said during the investigation, 38-year-old Lucas Blas, 39-year-old Carlos Eleutereo Acosta, and 34-year-old Salvador Perea Najera were identified as allegedly committing the thefts in a vehicle of interest.
