The Monthly Indicator of Gross Fixed Capital Formation (IMFBCF) allows us to know the behavior of investment in fixed assets in the short term. In October 2024, with seasonally adjusted figures,1 gross fixed capital formation grew 0.1% compared to last September, in real terms (see chart 1). charts By component, expenditures on machinery and equipment—domestic and imported— increased 1.2 percent.
