In February 2024, timely foreign trade information indicates a trade deficit of 585 million dollars, a balance that is compared to the deficit of 1,889 million dollars in the same month of 2023. In the first two months of 2024, the trade balance presented a deficit of 4,899 million dollars. In the same period of 2023, the deficit was 5,995 million dollars. In the reference month, the value of merchandise exports reached 50,721 million dollars, a figure made up of 48,098 million dollars of non-oil exports and 2,623 million dollars of oil exports.
