INEGI reports that the country's Monthly Industrial Activity Indicator (IMAI) decreased (-) 0.6% in real terms in February this year compared to the previous month, based on seasonally adjusted figures. By components, Mining fell (-) 2%, Construction (-) 0.9% and Manufacturing industries did so (-) 0.7%, while Generation, transmission and distribution of electrical energy, water and gas supply by pipelines to the final consumer, it increased 1.9% during the second month of 2020 compared to the previous month.
