China's crude steel output over January-February reached 149.58 million mt, up 9.2% year on year, the National Bureau of Statistics data released Thursday showed.Daily crude steel output during the first two months of 2019 averaged 2.535 million mt, up 3.2% from December 2018. The higher production can be attributed to steel output cuts for environmental reasons in northern China being reduced this year.
