According to preliminary information from the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), real (price-adjusted) incoming orders in the manufacturing sector rose by 8.9% in December 2023 compared to November 2023, seasonally and calendar adjusted. In a less volatile three-month comparison, incoming orders from October to December 2023 were 0.1% higher than in the previous three months.
