According to provisional information from the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), real (price-adjusted) production in the manufacturing sector rose by a seasonally and calendar-adjusted 0.3% in April 2023 compared with March 2023. After revision of the preliminary results, production for March 2023 fell by 2.1% compared to February 2023 (preliminary value: -3.4%).
