According to provisional information from the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), real (price-adjusted) new orders in the manufacturing sector fell by a seasonally and calendar-adjusted 0.4% in April 2023 compared to March 2023. For March 2023, after the revision of the preliminary results, there was a decrease in order intake of 10.9% compared to February 2023 (preliminary value: -10.7%).
