The U.S. Census Bureau announced the following international trade, wholesale inventories, and retail inventories advance statistics for December 2022: {tables} The international trade deficit was $90.3 billion in December, up $7.3 billion from $82.9 billion in November. Exports of goods for December were $166.8 billion, $2.6 billion less than November exports. Imports of goods for December were $257.1 billion, $4.7 billion more than November imports.
