Orea Mining wins lawsuit against French gov't

Orea Mining (TSX: OREA) (OTCQX: OREAF) (FRA: 3CG) said Thursday the Administrative Court of Appeal of Bordeaux ordered the French government to renew the company's mining concessions for its French Guinea project. Montagne d'Or is a permitting-stage open-pit gold deposit 180 kilometers west of the capital Cayenne. A 2017 bankable feasibility study contemplates an open pit operation over a 12-year mine life. The court also ordered the French Government to pay 10,000 Euro a day in penalties for every day that the mining concessions are not renewed.
