Since the beginning of data collection in 1995, the procure.ch Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) for industry has never been as high as it was in April 2021. The recovery of Swiss industry is progressing in the face of the resurgent global economy and the disproportionate demand for goods rapidly progressing that widespread scarcity is occurring, which is even causing prices to rise.
