Lefroy fills in the gap at Kambalda gold play

ASX-listed explorer, Lefroy Exploration, says it has filled “a missing gap” at its Eastern Lefroy gold project near Kambalda, courtesy of the recent granting of a tenement that takes in the historic Burns gold-copper prospect. The Perth-based company’s new ground also covers an extension of the banded iron formations that host the Lucky Strike gold mineralised trend. Lefroy recently released a near-surface mineral resource estimate for Lucky Strike of 1.27 million tonnes grading 1.95 grams per tonne for 79,600 ounces of contained gold.
