The severe downturn in Germany's manufacturing sector brought on by the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic showed further signs of easing in June, according to latest IHS Markit PMI® data. With more businesses starting to ramp up operations, the declines in output and new orders moderated further from the historic lows in April to the softest since February.
