Disliked{quote} Mate, I have an advise for you. If you are serious about Forex trading, I suggest practice on a demo account for 6 - 12 months first. IF you wanna try your hands on a real account, trade with pocket money. Do not stake more than you can afford to lose. Keep in mind, it takes years of education and/or experience for a person to become any of these Plumber Carpenter Physician Auto Mechanic etc. A person can't become a Forex trader by just signing up on a Broker's website.Ignored
DislikedHi all. I continue to think that until price proves different that we are in a 1240-1200 type of range as recent pa has demonstrated over the last week or so, which is a decent trading range after all said and done. I'm kind of siding long at present, but we can of course quite easily slide back down to 1200, and if it does then Ill be waiting to pull the trigger long, based upon the range mentioned at least, on the other hand, if price breaks 1240 first then that for me will constitute a momentum change to the upside to climb on board with confidence...Ignored
DislikedA difference of 0.15 in price of XAU/USD between two different brokers, ie., Markets.com and CITY bank. Though city account is a demo,I was just curious to know why such difference will be there in between brokers? {image}Ignored

DislikedWoke up to a scare. Thought an atomic bomb hit the middle east or something. Checked the news and here, false alarm. but crazy if this is stop hunting. Good thing this was a demo. I've been testing out this broker though for quite some time and was about to jump in. they've been reliable. Wonder what happened. 170 dollar movement in less than 30 min. then took more than 2 hrs before it dropped back to the real spot price. Oh well {image}Ignored
Dislikedword of advice for newbies stay out of the markets today, unless you are trading extremely short time frames (and even smaller position sizes) its rosh hashanah + end of week + end of quarter, liquidity will be thin... you saw what happened last night during the US session, today might set up another great shortable opportunity for the SPX (and a long on gold)... i expect today to be a retracement day... come back on monday and play the counter trend in gold to the upside, and spx to the downside! good luck and green pips!Ignored
