It does not explain what random actually means, or what a random walk is.
It tries to do so with reference to another school of thought which bears a simplistic but incorrect association, EMH, which was never quite accepted as meaning anything unless some very unrealistic conditions were possible.
Should you have begun by saying something like "most who believe in EMH" (notice it is a hypothesis, not a theory) - that may be closer to the truth. Because very few people have the guts to advocate that anymore.
