This thread is dedicated to the discovery of high quality economic news/analyses websites while filtering out noise filled, technical analysis filled websites that repeat the same views/opinions/sentiments that have been published elsewhere.
Not everyone understands fundamentals of foreign exchange markets or currency values, its a insanely complex world that's constantly changing. Though I believe every trader should actively seek to understand and monitor the fundamental factors at play relating to their trading product(s), we should also always be listening, reading and watching the views/opinions/sentiment from others. Mainly and most importantly established economists, traders, investors etc. People who may be more educated on the subject then us but certainly have a different way of viewing the market then us.
Feel free to reply with your most respected sources of economist views, macro analysis & geopolitical/market news.
In doing so we can all increase our knowledge of FX fundamentals, have a better understanding of market news and events and have a greater sense of clarity at the start of a trading day/week/month among many other benefits. It is also essential to know the views of economists and other market participants if your trying to factor in what is or is not 'priced in' when analysing/trading a currency's fundamental value.
No matter if you solely trade or invest with fundamentals or as confluence or simply avoid significant economic news releases, I believe all these benefits are still the same and its a net positive exercise for us as traders. What's your favourite macro, economist views/sentiment, fundamental news & analysis websites? My current list will follow up this post.
An important note: Quality websites and other sources will change and appear/disappear over time. We are looking for high quality websites, there are countless retail trader/technical analysis oriented, hindsight explanation websites. We want economist views and sentiment, macro/fundamental analysis & geopolitical/market news only.
